Indications
Acetylcysteine is indicated for use as a mucolytic in respiratory disorders such as in bronchitis, emphysema, mucoviscidoses and bronchiectasis.
Dosage
The exact amount of this medicine is determined by the doctor.
Do not take it arbitrarily or change the dose of this medicine and don’t Abrupt discontinuation without consulting your doctor.
the dose of 600 mg of this medicine is only for adults.
Dissolve tablet fully in one glass of room temperature water. Do not chew or swallow whole tablets.
Breast-feeding & Pregnancy: If you are breastfeeding or pregnant, consult your doctor before taking this medicine.
Drug Interactions
This drug interacts with a group of drugs, so if you are using any other type of drug or supplement, consult your doctor before taking this drug
Contraindications
– Hypersensitivity to acetylcysteine or its excipients.
– The tablets should not be used by children under 2 years of age.

The common side effects of this drug include: abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, fever, hypotension, Headache, Tinnitus

Store below 30 °C and protect from light and moisture.

Dosage Form:
Each Acetylcysteine 200 effervescent tablet, contain Acetylcysteine 200 mg.
Each Acetylcysteine 600 effervescent tablet, contain Acetylcysteine 600 mg.
